Bill Maher's 2011 Christmas Eve Salute To Christians

Bill Maher, (self-acclaimed liberal and not-so-funny comedian) really out-did himself this Christmas eve by TWEETING his devout anti-Christian TWITS just after The Denver Bronco’s loss to the Buffalo Bills.  Maher’s TWEET:

“Wow, Jesus just f * * *ed #TimTebow bad! And on Xmas Eve! Somewhere in hell Satan is tebowing, saying to Hitler ‘Hey, Buffalo’s killing them’”.

What’s up with this Lefty Loon anyway? For decades, his liberalist ideologies  preached to Americans how we must be more tolerant of other people’s religious faiths. Now we get the real message from Mr. Intolerant – “do as I say, not as I do”.

More liberal tripe. More liberal hypocrisy. More liberal hate.

Bill Maher is one ginormous, hateful, human being. His delusional and twisted beliefs about Jesus, Christians and those of Faith, are as honest as Obama, Holder and Napolitano’s blasphemy is about how safe are borders are. Talk is always cheap, and it’s even cheaper coming from a spiteful liberal.

Speaking of football, Maher really ain’t “got game”. In fact, he ain’t got a life right now either. His latest rant is loaded with religious intolerance while he spits defamation at the Son of God, and offers credence to Satan and Hitler.

Bill Maher revels in his pseudo-comic character as a quarterback for the far left. He  perpetuates his far left popularity by passing hate language to his team mates. His ignorance of Christians is surpassed only by his arrogance. If Maher had any insight into Tim Tebow’s passion for faith and football, he’d turn his vindictiveness to the sideline and focus on other conservative prey.

Bill Maher needs more than prayers from those he persecutes. Christians need to use Maher’s liberal playbook to their advantage and begin a massive TWITTER campaign to inform the millions of other believers about the new level of hate speech being vomited from far left corners of cyberspace.  Knowledge is power, and the power of a campaign to mute Maher’s pathetic message needs to derive from you and me.

Tim Tebow wins football games by studying his opponents strengths and weaknesses, then unleashing his leadership and athletic prowess against his opponents one play at a time.  Tebow will never win a football game by screaming profanities at his opponents across his center’s back. If Bill Maher wants to excel at the game of life, he might consider investing  more time watching Tebow play his game on Sunday’s.

“Talent on loan from GOD!” Rush Limbaugh may have coined the phrase, but Tim Tebow cashes in on it in by leading thru example every game day. Being a Christian doesn’t mean your perfect –  or give you a license to preach. Being Christian does means you’re able to talk-the-talk and walk-the-walk, without arrogance, and without fan fare. Being Christian means you know how to forgive but not necessarily forget. The un-Godly words spewed by Bill Maher merely demonstrate the need for Christians to unite and defy evil wherever it exists. If we allow Maher to spew hate without rebuttal, we lose the game of spreading Jesus story of salvation for all who ask for it.

The final referee in life is ultimately God. He gave humans the unique ability to make choices. For instance; the choice to say what we want and believe what we want. The choice to believe in one self, or believe in one God. The choice to follow evil or to follow good.  The choice to play in the game of life, or to stand on the sidelines. The choice to lead or the choice to follow. The choice to live eternally, or the choice to live internally.  Mr. Maher continues to make his choices, as does Mr. Tebow. When the game is over they’ll each stand before the Referee, just like you and me.

Veterans and Patriots, the only way to change bad behavior, like Bill Maher’s,  is to change our buying habits. Time Warner owns HBO. They’re ultimatley responsible for programming and comments from their hosts as it relates to public opinion and their corporate ethics policies. If we’re to stop defamation of Christians, we need to force Bill Maher out of his job at HBO.  You still have a choice when it comes to spending your hard-earned money on cable TV programs like Bill Maher’s “Real Time” on HBO. HBO’s competitor networks are only a cable click away. Stop buying HBO and switch to another movie network.

The following is my letter to the Chairman and CEO of Time Warner, Jefferey Bewkes:

RE: Time Warner Breach of Ethics Violations; Bill Maher, HBO host “Real Time”

Dear Mr. Bewkes:

I respectfully ask you, and the entire Time Warner Board of Directors, to initiate immediate termination of Bill Maher’s contract with HBO based on Mr. Maher’s grossly defamatory TWITTER comments Christmas Eve regarding Denver Bronco’s quarterback Tim Tebow, Jesus and Adolph Hitler.

“Wow, Jesus just f**ked #TimTebow bad! And on Xmas Eve! Somewhere … Satan is tebowing, saying to Hitler “Hey, Buffalo’s killing them.” “

 – Bill Maher, host HBO Real Time, 12/24/11 on TWITTER

Putting religion and politics aside, the firing of Mr. Maher must be made solely on his breach of Time Warner’s posted internet Ethics and Content Responsibility policies, as stated on your Time Warner website:

At Time Warner, we are committed to fostering a business environment where fair, honest, respectful dealings with each other, our customers, stockholders, competitors, suppliers, government agencies, and communities are everyone’s responsibility. Our unwavering commitment to the highest ethical standards of business conduct is a core value that is strongly sanctioned at every level of management.

Standards of Business Conduct

Our Standards of Business Conduct stress the importance of abiding by the law, being truthful, being transparent in our business dealings, putting the needs of our stockholders, and customers first, and steering clear of excesses and ethical lapses.

 Content Responsibility

Time Warner creates and distributes content that informs, entertains, and inspires people of all ages and in all walks of life, around the world. It is in this endeavor that we have the greatest impact on society and are guided by the values on which our businesses were founded: journalistic integrity; freedom of expression; responsible content; diversity of viewpoints; and access to information.

If Time Warner’s stated policies have any credence at all, The Board will make it explicitly clear to all of its employees and customers, that Time Warner will not tolerate  defamatory religious statements made by an employee via Time Warner’s proprietary media outlets, or made via third party internet social media, such as TWITTER.

Freedom of speech in a public venue is granted thru our Constitution and should not be obviated. Yes, Mr. Maher has the right to make statements about religious and political entities as he sees fit publically and privately. But in this situation, Mr. Maher’s comments violate Time Warner’s business code of ethics as an employee and further creates a negative public opinion about one of its HBO hosts.

From a sheer business perspective, why would any fair-minded consumer desire to pay for products or services from a company that condones defamatory religious comments? HBO has many other cable competitors that don’t have hosts making offensive religious commentaries. Your competitors are just a station click away on the remote. Ultimately in a free market the consumer always dictates the market.

Thousands of your customers are waiting to see what decision the Board will make concerning Mr. Maher’s future.  Until then:

Caveat Emptor,
